We welcome boys and girls from age 5 upwards into our junior cricket programme. Whether they’re completely new to the game or have a bit of experience, we have a team or training group to suit.
Our junior coaching sessions run weekly at Derriaghy Cricket Club, located just outside Lisburn. Training typically takes place weekday evenings from April to September, with some indoor sessions during the winter. Check our Socials to keep right up to date with the latest news…
Not at all! Many of our junior cricketers start with no previous experience. Our coaches are brilliant at making sessions fun, inclusive, and perfect for beginners.
For the first few sessions, all your child needs is comfortable sportswear, trainers, and a water bottle. We provide all the cricket equipment they’ll need to get started.
Yes – all our youth coaches are fully qualified and AccessNI vetted. Safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and our coaches are trained in child safeguarding and first aid.
We aim to keep cricket affordable for families. Annual membership fees and any training costs will be clearly outlined before you sign up. We also offer taster sessions so your child can try it first.
Yes! We run boys’ and girls’ teams across multiple age groups – from Under 9s right up to Under 17s. As your child progresses, there are plenty of opportunities to play in matches.
